In Dual, Marcat Dance invites the audience on an emotional and sensory journey as the bodies immerse themselves in an intimate dialogue through movement. The performers explore the duality of the human being, revealing both the beauty of connection and the complexity of individuality. From merging into a single, amalgamated body to the most personal expression, the dancers guide the audience through a visual and evocative experience in which risk-taking and spatial exploration play a crucial role in the emotional narrative of the piece.

Dual is the short version of the piece Afines, which premiered on November 30, 2024, at the Teatro Central in Seville.
