Paulina Skurzewska

Dancer

Paulina Skurzewska is a contemporary dancer based in the Netherlands. Her movement practice, enriched by yoga, is rooted in physicality, intuition, delicacy emerging from strength, and a deep sensitivity to space and rhythm.  She began her dance journey as a ballroom dancer at Image Wyszków, later continuing at. Wyszków Dance Theater, collaborating with Martyna Busławska and Artur Bajl (“Sanzaru”, “Xanarthis”), Artur Bajl “Xanarthis”, and a collaboration between Martyna Busławska and Katarzyna Zakrzewska (“OD OBOK”). She trained in jazz at East Side Dance Academy with Aleksandra Borkowska, studied Architectural Movement with Stefano Silvino, and performed in “STEFANIA”. Paulina has also worked with Małgorzata Mielech “Libertas”, completed the NOUVA X programme (2024/2025) by Tom Weinberger, and participated in open rehearsals with Mario Bermúdez, Roy Assaf, Ella Rothschild, Tom Weinberger, Jiří Pokorný, and Ethan Colangelo. She later collaborated with Jakub Mędrzycki and the Moving Lands Foundation on “Moving Lands”, was an understudy for “AVERNO” by Marcat Dance, and performed in Bo Jacobs’ full production “Huidschrift” and Zoë Greten’s “IGNIS”.
