Guillaume Cursio

Dancer

Guillaume discovered dance at the age of 7 in the Ain region of France. From an early age, movement became a space where he felt fully alive.  After eight years of modern jazz training, he pursued a path combining both studies and dance at Lycée Carnot in Dijon, where he discovered contemporary dance — a decisive revelation in his artistic journey.  Graduating from the Conservatoire Régional de Lyon in 2017, he gradually realized that dance had become an intimate language for him.
From 2018 to 2020, he trained at COLINE in Istres. Dancing became a necessity, a way of inhabiting the world with sincerity and intensity. He then collaborated with Marchepied Cie on a choreographic research project inspired by the different states of water, before joining the Ogmia company in Madrid for the creation Glass House. In 2024, he performed in the opening ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games before joining Le Grand Jeté for Frédéric Cellé’s creation Furieux.se.
